But despite the cost, the car ended up getting quite a few buyers. One of the reasons being it is the best luxury SUV in that segment as the Rolls Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga are still more expensive with others being more performance based. I had made a blog about the regular Lamborghini Urus a long time back but recently an even more powerful version of the Urus was released called the Urus Performante. The Urus Performante now has 657 hp while the standard Urus has 641 hp which means the Urus Performante is 16 hp more powerful compared to it’s standard variant. The Urus Performante is also much faster than the Urus and more suited to the track. It is also 47 kg lighter and this lack of weight is another thing that enables the Urus Performante to go at higher speeds. It also definitely looks a lot more like a true performance SUV with the exterior design being changed quite a bit compared to the Urus. It also comes with a dual tone option that the Urus doesn’t have. The Ferrari Purosangue is going to be the first SUV ever produced by Ferrari. Ferrari themselves refuse to call the Purosangue an SUV but as you can see the car is very much a SUV. The Purosangue will compete with other super SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX 707. Though the rear of the car looks weird, the front end of the car looks quite nice actually. The Ferrari Purosangue makes up for the odd looks with its great performance and top speed. The Purosangue has 715 horsepower and can reach the top speed of 310 kmph making it faster compared to all of its competitors.  The Purosangue is expected to be the most powerful Super SUV ever launched, beating the current record held by the Aston Martin DBX 707. It will be interesting to see how successful the Purosangue will become since it is very different from other Ferraris. I look forward to the Purosangue's arrival and seeing what happens with this car. 

Aston Martin have launched its newest car called the DBX 707 and it is the most powerful super SUV as of right now so of course I have to cover it. The DBX 707 has unbelievable acceleration for a super SUV as it goes from 0 to 100 in just 3 seconds and the car also breaks the 300 kmph barrier which is another great achievement for Aston Martin. Another interesting thing about the DBX 707 is that it is powered by a Mercedes AMG engine. Mercedes AMG of course being the high performance line of Mercedes cars. I like the fact that the DBX 707 has gone all out on performance instead of luxury unlike super SUVs from other British manufacturers like the Rolls Royce Cullinan or Bentley Bentayga which are more luxury based. The DBX 707 being a pure performance super SUV that's more suited to being driven on a race track instead of regular roads makes it stand out. Having seen a Lamborghini Urus on the road recently I decided to feature this car on the blog. The Lamborghini urus is the first SUV launched from Lamborghini and the first super SUV from any of the top Italian supercar companies. It is a rival to other super SUVS like the Porsche Cayenne and the Bentley Bentayga. No doubt the Urus is fast and beautiful especially in the yellow color like in the photo below. But the other great thing about the Urus is that it is not just fast and beautiful but also a very powerful and strong car which can easily drive off roading on bumpy dirt tracks and hills and can take some beating without causing much damage. On the Autocar show the Lamborghini Urus broke records by driving on Umling La which is the highest road in the world. The Lamborghini Urus is will always be remembered for being one of the first and most famous super SUVs in the world and inspiring other supercar brands to make super SUVs. Now if only Ferrari would come up with one.
