I thought it is about time for another Ferrari blog so I will be talking about the Ferrari 488 Pista which is the Ferrari in the photo below here. Before I get into the real thing let me tell you an interesting fact and that is in my model car collection the 488 Pista is the biggest one as it is a 1/24 scale unlike most of my cars which are 1/36 scale. Ferrari 488 Pista Anyway moving back to the real thing. The Ferrari 488 Pista is a special edition of the regular Ferrari 488 with changes like more performance and higher speed and probably the biggest change in looks is that there are stripes going down the center of the car. Here are the photos of the Ferrari 488 Pista and Ferrari 488 GTB and you can clearly see differences between the two cars. Ferrari 488 GTB Overall the 488 Pista is a great Ferrari. It is fast,powerful and beautiful and probably one of my favorite Ferraris at the moment.

Todays post is going to be about the Porsche Taycan. The Taycan is Porsches first electric supercar and comes in the normal variant and the Turbo variant. Like most electric supercars the Taycan has a great acceleration going from 0 to 100 kmh in around 4 seconds and the Taycan Turbo has a top speed of 260 kmh and this likely makes it one of the fastest electric cars of all time and not to mention The Porsche Taycan is also a very well designed car and especially the front end of it is beautiful. The Porsche Taycan is quickly becoming one of the most popular electric supercars in the world and it is easy to see why because of the Taycans great performance and looks as well as the fact the car is from a a legendary German brand known for making supercars. When Electronic Arts created the Need For Speed or NFS series back in the late 1990s it became the first major racing game series as until then there were only regular racing games. The NFS series quickly became the most popular racing game series of all time. In fact the very First video game I ever played back in happened to be the 2011 edition of Need For Speed Hot Pursuit when it was just released and that was how I found out about the world of video games. In the NFS series I have also played NFS Most Wanted, NFS Shift 2 Unleashed and NFS Underground and each one of them were awesome of course Hot Pursuit remains my favorite. Having seen a Lamborghini Urus on the road recently I decided to feature this car on the blog. The Lamborghini urus is the first SUV launched from Lamborghini and the first super SUV from any of the top Italian supercar companies. It is a rival to other super SUVS like the Porsche Cayenne and the Bentley Bentayga. No doubt the Urus is fast and beautiful especially in the yellow color like in the photo below. But the other great thing about the Urus is that it is not just fast and beautiful but also a very powerful and strong car which can easily drive off roading on bumpy dirt tracks and hills and can take some beating without causing much damage. On the Autocar show the Lamborghini Urus broke records by driving on Umling La which is the highest road in the world. The Lamborghini Urus is will always be remembered for being one of the first and most famous super SUVs in the world and inspiring other supercar brands to make super SUVs. Now if only Ferrari would come up with one.

The day a supercar fan sees his first Ferrari is a very special day and that day happened recently for me when I saw my first Ferrari through the glass of the Ferrari showroom in Mumbai. When I was going there I was thinking of the Ferrari models I could possibly see like the 458 Italia, 812 Superfast, 488 GTB, 488 Pista or maybe even the La Ferrari which is the fastest of all Ferraris. Instead there was a Ferrari in metallic red and with metallic silver wheels that I could not identify but it definitely seemed pretty special. I later found out the car is called the Portofino M and for some reason I did not hear about this car which was unbelievable to me. So I made sure to find out everything I could about the Portofino M. It turns out the Portofino M was only introduced in 2020 making it one of the newest Ferraris launched. It all started when I saw Lightning McQueen in the Disney Cars movie when I was around 5 years old, but my love of cars and speed really started at the age of 6 when I found out about supercars and when I happened to watch a Formula 1 race with my uncle, who is also a huge car and racing fan. It was a race in the 2011 Championship and Sebastian Vettel won that race. After watching that race, I became a fan of Formula 1 racing and race cars, and Sebastian Vettel became my favorite race car driver. When I was a kid, I had my own collection of Hot Wheels cars and would play with them all the time. As I grew older, I started my own model car collection with the help of my father. It now has 22 cars in it, most of which are supercars.  I like all supercars, but I especially like Ferraris. I’m sure that is why red is my favorite color.
